A&R Video Productions is a company dedicated to filming weddings and special events. A&R Video Productions focus is on weddings and special events. Our goal is to provide our clients with exactly what they need and desire, while lending our artistic training and vision. We are experts in all aspects of film and video, and enjoy providing brides and grooms with ideas of how they would like their wedding filmed.

A&R Video Productions is a member of WEVA (Wedding & Event Videographers Association). WEVA International is dedicated to advancing the professional interests of wedding and event videographers worldwide through continuing education, technical support, group benefits, advocacy committees and professional development training.

We also belong to PVASD, the Professional Videographers Association of San Diego.

Our Staff:

Tony Hickman: Producer/Director/Videographer/Editor

Has a unique vision when putting together a project. Graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications: Television, Film and New Media. Has written, produced, directed, and edited many short films, commercials, music videos, and documentaries on numerous formats (35mm, Super 16mm, Digital Video). Produced, directed and edited a commercial for Daimler Chrysler that won numerous awards. Produced, directed and edited a commercial for Fox Racing SHOX. Has worked professionally for over six years. Worked for companies such as: COX Channel 4 Padres on live baseball broadcasts, Midway Home Entertainment, and has made non-profit videos for Surfrider Foundation.

Robert Hickman: Editor/Videographer

Adds his unique skills as a camera operator and editor. His technical background and Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of California, San Diego, makes it possible for our company to maintain the highest technical standards, ensuring our customers receive the quality product they deserve. After 20 years of experience in the Telecommunications industry, he has directed his part time passion of photography and editing into his full time occupation.
